Waiver Terms & Conditions

Eligibility – I am at least 18 years old, or my parent/guardian has signed on my behalf. I am physically able to participate, and I can swim.
Assumption of Risk – I accept all risks associated with paddleboarding, including changing weather, tides, and water conditions.
Safe Use – I will use all equipment responsibly, wear a lifejacket and leash at all times, follow safety guidelines, and never paddle under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Equipment Responsibility – I accept full responsibility for all equipment during my rental period and agree to return it on time, with all parts, in good condition. I understand that I am financially responsible for the cost of repair or replacement if the equipment is lost, stolen, or damaged.
Third-Party Liability – I accept full responsibility for any injuries or damages I may cause to myself, others, or property while using the equipment. Only the undersigned renter is permitted to use the equipment.
Release & Indemnity – I release and hold harmless Paddle Place PEI, its owner, and staff from all liability for injuries, losses, or accidents that occur during my rental or use of equipment. I agree to indemnify and defend Paddle Place PEI against any claims arising from my participation.
Jurisdiction & Severability – This agreement is governed by the laws of Prince Edward Island, Canada. If any part of this agreement is found invalid, the remaining sections shall remain in effect.
